WHO WE ARE

Meet Dr. Bennett Fontenot

Dr. Bennett Fontenot brings decades of dental experience and specialized training in removable prosthodontics to patients who need to restore their smile, function, and confidence. After earning his dental degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1977, he established the Family and Cosmetic Dental Center in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. In 1999, he focused his practice on removable prosthodontics, developing extensive expertise in advanced denture treatment and complex tooth replacement.

Dr. Fontenot has pursued advanced post-doctoral training with some of the most recognized educators in removable prosthodontics, including Roy Smudde, Joseph Massad, John Pettus, Jack Turbyfill, and Scott Andrews. He has also shared his knowledge by presenting advanced denture seminars nationally and serving for 10 years as a faculty member in Clinical Removable Prosthodontics at LSU Dental School. For patients considering implants or implant-supported dentures, this depth of prosthodontic experience is especially valuable because the success of tooth replacement depends not only on the implants themselves, but also on how the final teeth are designed for comfort, stability, appearance, and everyday function.

Throughout his career, Dr. Fontenot has remained active in the dental profession and community, including service on the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry and membership in organizations such as the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
